Diagonal of a square=√2a

24=√2a

a=24/√2

Then area of square=24/√2×24√2

=576/2=288cm²

Perimeter of square=4×side

=24/√2×4

=96/√2 or, 48√√2

I HOPE IT'S HELPFUL FOR..

sides of square are equal
All sides be x
By pythagoras theorem,
x
 {x}^{2} + {x }^{2} = {24}^{2}

2 {x}^{2} = 24 \times 24
 {x}^{2} = 24 \times 24 \div 2
 {x}^{2} = 288
x = 16.9approx
by taking square roots
then you can find area and perimeter
peri=4*a
=4*16.9
67.88

Area =288sq.cm
hope you understand this...
