by pythagoras theorem:

hyp²=opp²+adj²

       =10²+10²

       =100+100

       =200

hyp = √200

hyp = 10√2

area of right triangle = 1/2×base×height

=1/2×10×10

=1/2×100

=50cm²

perimeter of right triangle = sum of all the three sides

             =10+10+10√2

             =30+1.414

             =31.414
