Assuming that O is the center of the given sector.

Area

Given that ∠BOD = 90°.

The external reflex angle at ∠BOD is 360° - 90° = 270°

60 cm is the radius. So let r = 60.

The area will be,

\pi r^2 \times \frac{270}{360} \\ \\ \pi \times 60^2 \times \frac{3}{4} \\ \\ 3600\pi \times \frac{3}{4} \\ \\ \bold{2700\pi}

∴ Area is 2700π cm².

Perimeter

The perimeter is the sum of the length of the arc and the lengths of BO and OD.

Length of the arc is,

2\pi r \times \frac{270}{360} \\ \\ 2\pi \times 60 \times \frac{3}{4} \\ \\ 120\pi \times \frac{3}{4} \\ \\ 90\pi

∴ Perimeter is 90π + 60 + 60 = 90π + 120 cm = 30(3π + 4) cm.

You can make it more exact by taking π as 3.14 or 22/7.

Thank you. Have a nice day. :-)
