Answer:

We will divide the figure into two parts-

TRIANGLE ABF and RECTANGLE CDEG

Perimeter of triangle = Sum of all sides

=AB+BF+AF

=10cm + 10cm + (3cm+3cm+6cm)

=10cm + 10cm + 12cm

=32cm

Area of triangle = 1/2*base*height

we will find the height by Pythagorous Theorm

By Pythagorous theorm,

(Hypotenuse) ^2=(Perpendicular)^2+(Base)^2

(10cm)^2=(P)^2+(6cm)^2

(100cm)^2=(P)^2+(36cm)^2

(P)^2=100cm^2-36cm^2

(P)^2=64cm^2

P=8cm

Hence, the height = 8cm

Area of triangle =1/2*8*6

=12cm^2

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(Lenght+Breadth)

=2(6+8)

=2*14

=28cm

Area of rectangle =Length *Breadth

=6cm*8cm

=48cm^2
