Area :

a) PQ = QR = 1.5 cm [Given]

[ see attachment ]

In squares all sides are equal .

So..

PQ = QR = RS = RP = 1.5 cm

 \sf \huge \pink{area \: of \: square =  \: side \times side}

Now,

= Side × Side

= 1.5 × 1.5

= 2.25 \sf cm^2

( b ) PQ = QR = 12 mm [Given]

[ see attachment ]

All sides are equal in Square..

PQ = QR = RS = SP = 12 mm

= Side × Side

= 12 × 12

= 144 \sf mm^2

Perimeter :

 \sf \huge  \pink{perimeter \: of \: square \:  =  \: 4 \times side}

( a ) PQ = QR = 1.5 cm [Given]

[ see attachment ]

PQ = QR = RS = SP = 1.5 cm

Perimeter = 4 × side

= 4 × 1.5

= 6 cm

( b ) PQ = QR = 12 mm [Given]

[ see attachment ]

PQ = QR = RS = SP = 12 mm

Perimeter = 4 × side

= 4 × 12

= 48 cm
