Area of big semicircle = pie r2/2

therefore, 22/7 x (14)2/2

A( big semicircle) = 308 sq. cm

and a(internal semicircle ) =pie r2/2

therefore, 22/7 x 7 x 7/2

A( internal semicircle) =77 Sq. cm

therefore,

Area of shaded region = 308-77 sq. cm.

= 221 Sq. cm
