Find the area and the perimeter of a square whose diagonal is 10 cm long

This is your answer.

Given Diagonal of square = 10 cm long.

Area of square = 1/2×d²
= 1/2 × 10 × 10
= 5×10
= 50 cm².

Hence the area of square is 50 cm².

Side of square = √A
= √50
= 5√2 cm.

Perimeter of square is ....
4 × side
= 4 × 5√2
= 20√2 cm.

Hence the area is 50 cm² and perimeter is 20√2 cm.
