So by Pythagoras theorem
X2 + (15)2 = (17)2
X2 = (17)2- (15)2
X2 = 289 - 225
X2 = 64
X = 8
So the breaths is 8
Now the area is length x breath
So 8 cm x 15 cm = 120 cm2
And perimeter = 2 ( L + b)
= 2(15+8) = 2 x 23 = 46 cm
