since intercept made by X axis is 10 and by y axis also so it will form a triangle whose base and height both will be 10 and 10 resp
so area =1/2*10*10=50

first we should convert the given equation
x+y=10 into intercept form that is
x/10+y/10 = 1
now the area of the triangle formed with coordinate axis is 1/2(10)(10) = 50sq.units
