Find the area bounded by curve y = cosx between x = 0 and x = 2π ​

It's pretty hard to type the equations over here, so I'll try and explain what to do

Integrate y=cosx with separate limits

i.e, integrate it from 0 to π/2 ; then π/2 to 3π/2; then 3π/2 to 2π

and add all of them

We got those limits by checking the the graph of y=cos x and finding which regions are above X-axis and which are below

Upon doing so, we get the total area will be 1+2+1 = 4
