To find area between the curves

x= y^2

and

y = x^2

First find the point of intersection by put the value of x=y^2 in second curve ,

= x^2=x

square both sides

=> x^4-x^2= 0

=> x^2(x^2-1)=0

we get x = 0 and 1

when we put the value of x in any curve we get

y= 0 and 1

we get the points

(0,0 ) and ( 1,1)

Now solve it .
