Area enclosed between two concentric circles
= Area of larger circle-Area of smaller circle
= π(8)^2 - π(6)^2
= 64π-36π
= 28π
= 28×22/7
= 88 cm sq.

area of circle with radius 8cm
=( 22/7 x 8 x 8)cm^2
area of circle with radius 6cm
=( 22/7 x 6 x 6) cm^2
now area enclosure between the circles
= 22/7(64-36)
= 22/7 x 28
=88 cm^2
