area enclosed between two concentric circles is (area of bigger circle)-(area of smallar circle)
so,
area =A1-A2
=22/7×(2.8)^2-22/7×(1.2)^2
=24.64-4.52
=20.12sq.cm

The area enclosed between two concentric circles is 20.1142 sq.cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

Outer circle radius = 2.8 cm

Inner circle radius = 1.2 cm

Area enclosed between two concentric circles = Outer circle area - inner circle area

Area enclosed between two concentric circles = \pi R^2 - \pi r^2

Area enclosed between two concentric circles =\frac{22}{7}(2.8^2-1.2^2)

Area enclosed between two concentric circles = 20.1142 cm^2

Hence The area enclosed between two concentric circles is 20.1142 sq.cm.
