area of ABC triangle=1/2×b×h

1/2×12×5=30cm²

side AC=

pythagoras theorem

5²+12²=ac²

13=ac

AEDC is a trapezium

area of AECD=a+b/2×h

=13+7/2×3

=30cm²

total area =30+30

=60cm²
