(c) Since, we know that the area of trapezium = 1/2 × h ( sum of parallel sides ) and also know the area of rectangle = b × h

The height and its top of parallel sides of the trapezium will be 4 cm because it lies on perpendicular base.

Therefore, the area of trapezium = 1/2 × 4 ( 6 + 14 )

= 2 × 20 = 40 cm square

Now, the area of rectangle = 6 × 4 = 24 cm square

ATQ,

area of rectangle and trapezium = 24 + 40 = 64 cm square

Hope this will help you.
