          AREA OF THE GIVEN FIGURE

We have ,

       >>  MNOR as square of sides =  20 cm

       >> ROPQ as trapezium of

             >>non-parallel sides = 6 cm & 20 cm

             >>   height = h cm

Step-by-step explanation:

To determine height of the trapezium ,

  >>using basic calculation ,we get height as

>> h = 3.8 cm

hence,

           Area = {sum of non-parallel sides / 2} x height (h)

 

          Area = { 26 x 3.8 } / 2

                   =48.2 cm²

hence ,

                 >>  area of square = side²

                     >>   area= 20² cm²

                                 = 400 cm²

Therefore ,

                  Total area = area of square + area of trapezium

                                     = ( 400 + 48.2 ) cm²

                                     = 448.2 cm²
