HERE'S YOUR ANSWER

Area of trapezium = 1/2 * height ( Sum of parallel sides )

Area of trapezium = 1/2 * 5.5 ( 16 + 8 )
= 2. 75 * (24)
= 66 cm2
Area of two trapeziums = 2*66
= 132 cm2

Area of rectangle = length * breadth
= 8 * 14
= 112 cm2

Area of enclosed figure = Area of rectangle + Area of two trapeziums
= 244 cm2
