Let us First Calculate the are of the rectangle...

Area of Rectangle=l×b=30×50=1500cm²


Now Both the Traingles have same Area.

So area of One triangle=(b×h)/2

Here b=30cm.
h=(70-50)/2=20/2=10cm. Since 20cm is the height of both the triangles..


So area of one triangle=(30×10)/2=300/2=150cm²

So Area of Figure= Area of rectangle + 2(area of one traingle)
=1500cm²+[2×150]cm²
=(1500+300)cm²
=1800cm² is your Required Answer...
