 \large \sf \purple {\boxed {Area\: in\:meter\:square}}

Area of Rectangle = Length×breath

1m = 100cm

area = 20m × (1800/100)m

= 20m × 18m

= 360 sq. m

 \large \sf \purple {\boxed {Area\: in\:cm\: square}}

Area = (20×100)cm × 1800cm

= 2000cm × 1800cm

= 3600000 sq cm

Given:-

  • Long = 20 m
  • Wide = 1800 cm

To find:-

  • Area of room in sq.m and sq.cm.

Solution:-

Firstly,

  • Converting into sq.m.

→ 1800 ÷ 100

18 m

Area = length × breadth

⇛ l × b

⇛ 20 × 18

360 sq.m

Hence,

  • the area of room in sq.m is 360 sq.m.

Then,

  • Converting into sq.cm.

→ 20 × 100

2000 cm

Area = length × breadth

⇛ l × b

⇛ 2000 × 1800

3600000 sq.cm

Hence,

  • the area of room in sq.cm is 3600000 sq.cm.
