Find the area in square meters of a rectangle whose length=120cm and breadth=80cm.

Length = 120 cm

1 m = 100 cm

Lenght = 1.2m

Breadth = 80 cm

Breadth = 0.8m

To find -- area ?

Area of rectangle = length × breadth

Area = 1.2m × 0.8m

Area = 0.96 sq m
