Find the area in Square metre of a piece of cloth 1m25 cm wide and 2 m long

length=2 m

breadth=1 m 25cm ⇒1 m = 100 cm

  ∴ 25cm=25/100 ⇒0.25 m

area = l x b

         = 2 x 1.25 m

           = 250m²
