Step-by-step explanation: given figure indicates that there is two areas small and large(including path area) , we need to calculate both areas and then subtract smaller area from large area ..in a smaller, calculate the area of rectangle and both the half circles

Area of rectangle = length x breadth

= 21 x 50 = 1050m

Area of 1/2 circle =( πr²)/2

= {(22/7) (21)/2)²}/2

= {(22/7)(21x21)/4}/2

= {(22/7) x (14)²}/2

= {22 x 3 x 21 }/8

= { 66 x 21 }/8=173.25

Area of 2 half circles

= 173.25 x 2 = 346.5

Area of small portion (inner) =

Area square + area of 2 half circles

=1050 + 346.5 = 1,396.5

Now , calculate the area of larger portion (area of. inner portion + path)

Here, Area of rectangle = l x b

= {50 x (21+7)} = {50 x 28 } = 1,400m²

let's find out the area of 2 half circles ...

Area of 2 half circles =

= 2 {(πr²)/2} = πr²

= {(22/7)x ((21+7)/2)²}

= { (22/7) x( (28x28)/4)}

= { 22 x 4 x 7 } = 616

Area of large portion = 616 + 1400

= 2,016

Area of path in the given figure

= Area of large portion - area of smaller portion = 2016 - 1,396.5

= 619.5 m²
