Heya.....

Here's your asnwer.....

The base of the triangle will be diameter means 2r

And the height of the triangle will be r.

A semicircle has the largest triangle's base as its diameter, and its perpendicular or height as its radius.

Area of triangle = 1/2 × base × height

= 1/2 × 2r × r

= r^2

Thanks...!!!

Answer:

r² cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

The biggest triangle inside a semicircle:

Base of the triangle = Diameter

Height of the triangle = Radius

Find the Base of the triangle:

Base of the triangle = Diameter

Base of the triangle = Radius x 2

Base of the triangle = 2r cm

Find the height of the triangle:

Height = Radius

Height = r cm

Find the area of the triangle:

Area of the triangle = 1/2 x base x height

Area of the triangle = 1/2 x 2r x r

Area of the triangle = r² cm²

Answer: The area is r² cm²
