If it fits the square perfectly and touches each side you can do this :

So the diameter is 35 and the radius( R)is 17.5

And to calculate the area of a circle you :(^2-square)

A=PI x R^2

A=PI x 17.5^2

A=962,1127501618742

Given:

Side of square = 35 cm

Also, the circle is inscribed in square.

We know ,

Length of all sides of square are equal.

Thus, Diameter of circle will be equal to side of square.

As we know, Diameter = 2r.

•°• 2r = 35, r = 17.5 cm

Area of circle:-

Area of circle = πr²

= 22/7 × 17.5 × 17.5

= 22 × 43.75

= 962.5 cm²

Thus, area of a circle inscribed in a square of side 35 cm is 962.5 cm².
