find the area of a circle of diameter 8.4 m

shekharmeena1: The area of a circle with radius 4.2 is 55.417694409324

Solution Steps:

Area of a cicle in terms of radius:

Area = π . r2 = 3.14 × 4.22 = 55.42 square centimeters.

In terms of diameter:

Area = π . (d/2)2 = 3.14 × (8.4/2)2 = 3.14 × (4.2)2 = 55.42square centimeters.

In terms of circumference:

Area = C2/(4π) = 26.392/4π = 696.4/(4 × 3.14) = 696.4/(12.56) = 55.42 square centimeters.
abhinay10o: d=2r=2×8.4=16.8. area of circle=πr×r=22\7×16.8
abhinay10o: sorry its wrong

Hey there!!

Diameter of the circle is given = 8.4m

The radius is half of diameter,
therefore radius = 8.4 / 2
= 4.2 m

Now Area of circle = pi r^2
= 22/7 × (4.2)^2
= 55.42 m^2
