find the area of a circle who's diameter is 4.7 cm

Diameter of circle = 4.7 cm.




Radius = D/2 = 4.7/2 = 2.35 cm.




Area of circle = πr²




=> 22/7 × 2.35 × 2.35




=> 17.35 cm². [ Approx ]

area = \pi {r}^{2}  \\ area = \pi { (\frac{4.7}{2}) }^{2}  \\ area = 5.522\pi
