Solution :

To find the area first we need to find the radius of the circle from the diameter.

Diameter = 28 cm

Radius = diameter/2

= 28/2

= 14 cm

Area of circle = Π r ²

= (22/7) ⋅ (14)²

= (22/7) ⋅ 14 ⋅ 14

= 22 ⋅ 2 ⋅ 14

= 44 ⋅ 14

= 616 cm²

Answer:

Diameter = 1.4 m

Radius = diameter/2

= 1.4/2

= 7 m

Area of a circle = pir²

= (22/7)×7×7

= 1.54 cm²
