Circumference = 2 pie r = 3.5

thus r =3.5 /2pie

Area of circle = pie × r^2

= pie × 12.25 / pie^2 4

= 3.0625/pie = 3.0625/ 3.14 = 0.97 sq.unit

2.pie.r=3.5

or, 2*(22/7)*r = 35/10  unit

or, r= 35*7/10*22*2   unit

or, r= 7*7/2*22*2  unit

or, r= (49/88) unit

So, area of the circle = pir.r^2

                                   = (22/7)*(49/88)*(49/88) unit^2

                                   = (22*49*49/7*88*88) unit^2

                                   = (7*49/4*88) unit^2

                                   = (343/352) unit^2

                                   = (0.974) unit^2

                                   = 0.97 unit^2

(Ans): 0.97 unit^2
