diameter =28 cm

radius =28/2cm=14cm

area if a circle is π.radius^2

=22/7.14^2sq cm

=22×14×14/7sq cm

=616 sq cm

 = radius =  \frac{28}{2}

 = radius = 14

now find the area of circle:-

 =  \frac{22}{7} \times 14 \times 14

 = 22 \times 2 \times 14

 = 44 \times 14

 = 616cm {}^{2}

hence area of circle is 616cm²
