Given :-

Diameter of a circular field = 100m

To find :-

Area of the field

Formula to use :-

Area = \pi r^{2}

Radius = \dfrac{1}{2} × Diameter

Therefore,

Radius = \dfrac{1}{2} \times 100

=> \dfrac{1}{\not2} \times \not100

=> Radius = 50m

By using the formula,

Area of the field = \pi \times 50^{2}

=> \pi \times 50 \times 50

Value of \pi is \dfrac{22}{7} or 3.14]

=> \dfrac{22}{7} \times 2500

=> \dfrac{55000}{7}

=> 7857.143m² (approx)

(or)

3.14 × 2500

=> 7850m²

Some more formula :-

Area of triangle = \dfrac{1}{2} × base × height

Area of square = (side)²

Area of rectangle = length × breadth

Area of parallelogram = base × height

Area of rhombus = \dfrac{1}{2} × Diagonal 1 × Diagonal 2

Area of trapezium = \dfrac{1}{2} × height × (sum of parallel sides)
