Solution :-

area \: of \: paralellogram \ = area \: (</strong><strong>PRS</strong><strong>) + area  \: (</strong><strong>PQR</strong><strong>)

 =  &gt;  \frac{1}{2} (</strong><strong>PR</strong><strong>)(</strong><strong>ST</strong><strong>) +  \frac{1}{2} (</strong><strong>PR</strong><strong>)(</strong><strong>UQ</strong><strong>) \\ =  &gt;  \frac{1}{2} (</strong><strong>PR</strong><strong>)(</strong><strong>ST</strong><strong> + </strong><strong>UQ</strong><strong>) \\  =  &gt;  \frac{1}{2}  \times 24(12) =   {144}cm^{2}
