find the area of a parallelogram whose adjacent sides are of length 15 cm and 12 cm, respectively, and the height corresponding to the longest side is 10 cm. find also the height corresponding to the shorter side.​

h=10 cm

b=15 cm

Thus, area= b*h= 10*15= 150cm2

Now base=12 cm(shorter side)

According to formula area=b*h,

h=area/b =150/12 =12.5
