Dimensions of rectangle EFGH =$42m \: ; \: 34m$

Area of rectangle EFGH = $\rm \red{l \times b}$

$= 42 \times 34$

$= 1428m ^{2}$

Length of ABCD = $(2.5 + 2.5 + 42 )= 47m$

Breadth of ABCD = $(2.5 + 2.5 + 34) = 39m$

Area of rectangle ABCD =$\rm \red{l \times b}$

$= 47 \times 39$

$= 1833m ^{2}$

Area of path = Ar. of ABCD - Ar. of EFGH

=(1833 - 1428)m²

$= 405m {}^{2}$

Hence, remaining area is 405m².
