Since the path is 2m wide, the dimensions for the larger rectangle is 104m by 64m

The area of the bigger rectangle is:104×64=6656m2

The area of the smaller rectangle is:
64 × 100=6400m2

Area of path =6656-6000=656m2

The cost =656 ×30=rs19680.

Area of the Garden Excluding the Path = 96 * 56
                                                               = 5376

So Area of the Path = 6000 - 5376
                                 = 624 m^2

So Cost of gravelling 624 m^2 = 624 * 30
