Answer :

  • Area of quadrant is 38.5cm²

Given :

  • Radius is 7cm

To find :

  • Area of quadrant

Solution :

Given,

  • Radius is 7cm

We know that

  • Area of quadrant = ¼ × πr²

↬ Area of quadrant = ¼ × 22/7 × (7)²

↬ Area of quadrant = ¼ × 22/7 × 7 × 7

↬ Area of quadrant = 38.5cm²

Hence,

Area of quadrant is 38.5cm²

As per given in the question it is asked to find the area of a quadrant

and given data is only the radius =7cm

now the formula for area of quadrant

putting the values in the formula we get

A=\frac{\pi r^{2} }{4} \\A=\frac{3.14\times7^{2} }{4} \\A=\frac{153.86}{4} \\A=38.465cm^{2}

hence the area of a quadrant =38.465cm^{2}
