Area of quadrant = 1/4 πr²

Circumference = 2πr

2 × 22/7 ×r = 88

44/7 × r = 88

r = 88 × 7/44

r = 2 × 7

r = 14

hence,

area of quadrant = 1/4πr²

1/4 × 22/7 × 14 × 14

1/2 × 22 × 14

11 × 14

154

Hence,

area of quadrant = 154

here is your answer....

Answer: 154 cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

circumference of a circle =  88 cm

                       2 * 22/7 * r  =  88 cm

                                    r      =   88 * 7 / 22 * 2

                     radius           =    14 cm

area of a quadrant   =   14 * 14 * 22 / 7 *4

                                   =     154 cm
