Answer:

for angel ABC

a= 4 cm

b=5 cm

c= 3 cm

::a square + c square = b square

angle ABC is right angled triangle with B = 90 degrees

:: area of right triangle is

1/2 * base * height

1/2 * 3* 4 = 6 CM square

for angel ACD

a = 4 CM , b= 5cm, c= 5 cm

s = a+b+c/2

4+5+5/2

14/2 = 7 cm

area of angles ACD

under root s ( s-a) (s-b) (s-c)

under root 7 (7-4) (7-5) (7-5)

under root 7*3*2*2

==2 root 21 CM square

= 2* 4.6 CM square ( approx)

= 9.2 CM square ( approx)

area of quadrilateral ABCD

= area of angle ABC + area of angle ACD

= 6 CM square + 9.2 cm square

= 15.2 CM square ( approx)
