divide the quadrilateral into 2 triangles
area of triangle ABD=1/2 x b x h
=1/2 x 34 x 42
=34 x 21
=714 cm 2
similarly calculate the area of triangle BCD
to get the area of quad.ABCD add the areas of both the triangles
