Find the area of a quadrilateral, if the length of one of its diagonal is 70 cm and the perpendicular distance from two opposite vertices to this diagonal are 40 cm and 20 cm.

Area of Quadrilateral=(1/2×diagonal length×sum of the height of two triangles.) square units

diagonal of length=70cm

sum of height of two triangles=40+20=60

Aera of Quadrilateral=(1/2×70×60) cm²

(70×30)cm²

=2100cm². [60/2=30]
