Divide the quadrilateral PQRS in two triangles 1) ∆PQS

Divide the quadrilateral PQRS in two triangles 1) ∆PQS Area =1)2× base × height

= 1/2×8×5 = 20 cm square

2) ∆RQS

2) ∆RQS Area= 1)2× base × height

=1/2×8×4.5= 18 cm square

Now, add the both area of triangle

20 cm square+ 18 cm square

= 38 cm square
