Find the area of a quadrilateral whole diagonal is 10cm and the perpendiculars on the diagonal from the

so,

area of triABD = 1/2 * BASE * HEIGHT

= 1/2* 10 *4

= 20cm^2

also area pf triangleBCD=1/2*B*H

=1/2 * 10*4.5

=22.5

THEREFORE,

area of quad.ABCD= areaABD+area BCD

= 20 +22.5

=42.5cm^2
