find the distances between the two vertices by using √(x2-x1)2 + (y2-y1)2

u  can then find the area.

let a be (1,2), be b (4,3) and c be (6,6) and d be( 3,4)

therefore dist between a and b, b and c , c and d and a and d has to be found.
