Question:Find the area of a quadrilateral with diagonal 13m and offset 7m and 3m.

Answer:

 65 \: {m}^{2}

Given:

A quadrilateral ABCD having diagonal13 m and it's offset 7m and 3m

To find:

Area of the quadrilateral

Solution:-

  • Diagonal=13 m;offset=7m and 3m

We know that

area \: of \: quadrilateral =  \frac{1}{2} \times (diagonal) \times (sum \: of \: it's  offsets)

 =  \frac{1}{2} \times 13(3 + 7)

 =  \frac{1}{2} \times 13 \times 10

 = 13 \times 5

 = 65  \: {m}^{2}

-----------------

Area of quadrilateral is 65 m^2
