let length = x
breadth = 2x
perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)
300= 2(x+2x)
150=3x
x=50
length = 50
breadth = 100
area of rectangle = l×b
50×100=5000 square cm

Heya,

PERIMETER= 300cm
Ratio= 1:2

Let's assume that the ratio are 1x and 2x

So,
Length=1x
Breadth=2x

Perimeter formula:-

Perimeter=2 (l+b)
=> 300=2 (1x+2x)

=> 300=2 (3x)

=> 300=6x

=> 300/6=x

=> 50=x

Therefore,
Length=1x=1×50=50cm
Breadth=2x=2×50=100cm

To find area:-

Area= l×b
=> Area= 50×100
=> Area= 5000sq.cm

Hence the area of the rectangle is 5000sq.cm

Hope my answer helps you :)
