2(l+b)=200l+30

=200/2l

l=100-30=70

Area of rectangle=70×30

=2100m^2

Given :

  • Perimeter of rectangle = 200m
  • Breadth of rectangle = 30m

To Find :

  • Area of a rectangle

Solution :

First we have to find the length

For finding length, we can use perimeter formula

⇒ Perimeter = 2 ( l + b )

⇒ 200 = 2 ( l + 30 )

⇒ 200 / 2 = l + 30

⇒ 100 = l + 30

⇒ l = 100 - 30

⇒ l = 70

Length = 70m

So we have, l = 70m and b = 30m

No we have to find Area of rectangle

By using formula,

⇒ Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth

⇒ Area of rectangle = 70 × 30

⇒ Area of rectangle = 2100m²

° Area of rectangle = 2100m²
