Find the area of a rectangle with length (x+3) units and breadth ( x -2) units

we have,

length=(x+3)

breadth=(x-2)

now,

according to question,

area of rectangle=lxb

=(x+3) (x-2)

=x(x-2) +3(x-2)

=x^2-2x+3x-6

=x^2+x-6

Hence, the required area =x^2+x-6
