find the area of a rectangular frame, one side of which measures 5 m and the diagonal measures 13 m.

We know that diagonal = sum of squares of two sides

So, Second side = √13²- 5²
     Second side = √169 - 25
                          = √144
                          = 12 m

So, Area of Rectangle = l*b = 12*5 = 60 m²
