Find the area of a rectangular plot,one side of which is48m and its diagonal is 50 m.

Answer - 672 m2

(50)^2 = (48)^2+h^2
2500=2304+h^2
h=√2500-2304
h=14 m

area of triangle =1/2 *b*h
= 1/2 *14*48
=336m2
area of rectangle=336*2
=672m2

 {adjecent \: side}^{2}  =  {50}^{2} -  {48}^{2}
 = 2500 - 2304
 = 196
 \sqrt{196}
 = 14
area = 48 \times 14
672 \: sq.m
