Length (l)=70m

Diagonal (d)=74m

Let, breadth be b.

Using Pythagoras Theorem,

 {d}^{2}  =  {l}^{2}  +  {b}^{2}  \\  =  >  {(74m)}^{2}  =  {(70m)}^{2}  +  {b}^{2}  \\  =  > 5476 {m}^{2}  = 4900 {m}^{2}  +  {b}^{2}  \\   =  >  {b}^{2}  = 5476 {m}^{2}  - 4900 {m}^{2}  \\  =  >  {b}^{2}  = 576 {m}^{2}  \\  =  > b =  \sqrt{576 {m}^{2} }  \\  =  > b = 24m

Therefore, area of the rectangular plot (A)=

l \times b \\  =  70m \times 24m \\  = 1680 {m}^{2}
