Hey mate,

A regular hexagon is composed of six equilateral triangle.

Area of equilateral triangle = √3/4a²

Hence, area of six equilateral triangle = 12√3/4a² which is equal to area of regular hexagon.

Hence area of given regular hexagon

= 12× √3/4 × 4²

=> 12 × √3/4 × 16

=> 12× √3 × 4

=> 83.138 square unit

Hope it will help you.

A regular hexagon is composed of six equilateral triangle.

Area of equilateral triangle = √3/4a²

Hence, area of six equilateral triangle = 6√3/4a² which is equal to area of regular hexagon.

Hence area of given regular hexagon

= 6 × √3/4 × (12)^²

=> 6 × √3/4 × 144

=374.14

=> 374.14 square unit

Hope it helps dear friend ☺️

saivivek16: Well, i think 6 should be replaced by 12.
